We are currently looking for professional photographers and digital illustrators to join the riotgrrls.com contributor community.
Application form
The application process is straightforward, but we will only consider applications from professionals and serious enthusiasts.  Amateur photographers will be considered depending on the level of skill they display in their photos.

• Complete your personal details
• E-mail us at least five images to show us how good your images are - the type of image you would submit if your application is approved.
• We will respond personally to all applicants.
• If you are accepted as a Riot Grrls contributor we will send you further details about our contact and sign-up process.

We need to see some of your images to assess how good you are! Please show us your best work - the type of photo you would submit if your application is approved. We are quite strict on quality but following the simple guidelines below will give you a greater chance of acceptance:

What we are looking for:

• Experience working with female subjects and a professional manner
• Professional quality photographs or digital illustrations
• Stock images that are of general appeal rather than personal interest
• Originality - we want to expand our range of subjects not have more of the same - please search the site before uploading - if we have similar images yours may be rejected
• Variety - show us different images, not three photos of the same subject
• Perfect exposure and focus
• Considered composition
• Photography from high quality cameras only
• JPG format only
• Minimum dimension of 1900 pixels across the shortest edge

• Trees / sunsets / scenery / rivers / lakes
• Boats / harbors / marinas
• Flowers, including insects on flowers
• Religious icons / places of worship
• Close-up photography unless a dedicated SLR macro lens has been used
• Ducks / pets / livestock
• Everyday shots / vacation / holiday / tourist snaps
• Photos with borders, frames, date stamps, signatures or watermarks
• Small images that have been resized upwards to meet our minimum dimensions
• We are not looking for "everyday" photos than anyone could have taken. We are looking for professional quality stock photography and illustrations that our customers will enjoy and possibly purchase prints of  in the future.
